OTHER is a new collaboration between choreographer/dancer Julie Cunningham and director/ cinematographer Cordelia Beresford. The film is a duet, exploring questions of identity and the shifting nature of relationships. The painterly use of colour in costumes and locations conjures up a dream-like space. Cordelia Beresford is a filmmaker & video artist whose works explore issues of mental distress and representations of the female body on camera. Her works combine choreographed movement with cinematic lighting and she has worked with celebrated Australian contemporary dancers.
